Monte Carlo workshops in EGSnrc, PENELOPE, Geant4, GATE, and TOPAS
MCMA is pleased to offer a series of post-conference workshops on Monte Carlo codes. All workshops will take place at the McGill University Health Centre on Saturday the 22nd of June, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
These workshops are open to all and are free of charge.
The workshops will take place at the McGill University Health Center. Take the orange line to the Vendome metro station. Don’t leave the station. Please take the tunnel to the MUHC (McGill University Health Center), it is also called the Glen site. After going through the tunnel you can either take the stair, go out, cross the yard and enter the Royal Victoria Hospital. Go straight until you reach the stairs that will take you down to a big cafeteria with big windows, or continue to go underground, cross the parking go to the left entrance (Royal Victoria Hospital) and you will reach the cafeteria. Go to cafeteria and you will see the corridor with the sign DS1 Radiation Oncology & Medical Physics. We will put up signs to the room DS1.1427. From there our graduate students will guide you to the correct class room.
